C and I took off on a road trip about four days ago to visit two people we know in Middlebury, Vermont - one who just graduated from Mills, another (Anna, I've written about her before) who studied abroad in Mainz with me last year. We've seen cows and goats and beautiful mountains, walked on trails with poems by Robert Frost accompanying us, had beer next to fires, seen the beautiful Middlebury campus, and have to leave way too soon. More pictures are to come, but here a are a few for you to get a taste.

Vermont, briefly.
I think this is the state I should have been born in. I hope I get the chance to live here sometime during my life.
